Furkan Camci is a medical doctor who graduated from Koc University in Turkey in 2022. Currently, he works as a post-doctoral fellow at Cengiz/Ferrazzano Labrotatory at University of Wisconsin-Madison. He is involved in a research project focusing on the impact of neonatal hypoxic ischemia on sexually differentiated gene changes in the mouse hippocampus. Moreover, he is a part of the clinical research project which focuses identifying injury patterns in the brain following traumatic brain injury in children. After completing his projects, he wants to pursue his MD career as a pediatrician-scientist in the USA.
